This is the sketch draft of my front cover. Conventionally, the Masthead is visible within the top left-hand corner in order to make it clearly visible, especially if my magazine were to be stored upon a shelf within a shop, where other magazines may be covering the rest of the front cover. When creating my final cover, I aim to place the main image in the very centre of the magazine, ensuring that it takes up a large proportion of the overall splash. Beneath the masthead I shall include the price and date of publication, so that these are also visible, and I shall situate my coverlines randomly around my main image, with a main coverline beneath the main image, in a larger font. I shall then place my barcode within the bottom corner of my magazine, as this isn't an important aspect in the promotion of my magazine to the audience. Next to the magazine I shall place a tag? in order to appeal to the audience, which will consist of text in reference to a promotional offer or free gift included within the content of the magazine, redeemable for every reader.
